Laxmikanth Berde- November 3rd

Laxmikanth Berde was a well known Bollywood actor famous for his comedy based roles. He has acted several Marathi and Hindi movies. Laxmikanth Berde. He was born on November 3rd 1954 in Mumbai in a Marathi Saraswat Brahmin family. From very younger age he had the striving to be an actor that was the reason he started his acting career through stage dramas. He won several awards in acting during the inter school and inter college competitions. He started his film career through Marathi movies. His debut movie was Lek Chalali Sasarla. His first Hindi movie was “Maine Pyar Kiya” with Salman Khan. He continued a very successful acting career which has given several good performances like Hum Apke Hain Kaun, Mere Sapno Ki Rani, Arzoo, Saajan, Beta and 100 Days. He has a production company Abhinay Arts named after his son. In December 16 2004 he passed away due to kidney failure.

Shahrukh Khan- 2nd November

Shahrukh Khan is one of the greatest actors in today’s Indian Film Industry as well as a film producer and television host. He was born in New Delhi on November 2nd 1965. His father Taj Mohammed Khan was an Indian Independence Activist. Their family migrated from Peshawar, British India before the partition of India. Shahrukh Khan began his acting career through several television series aired in Doordarshan Channel in late 1980’s like Fauji, Circus and so on. His first film debut was Deewana which was one of the biggest box office hit of that year and he achieved the Filmfare Best newcomer Award. After that he never had to turn back, today he has achieved 13 Filmfare Awards for his performance. His most successful films are, Bazzigar, Darr, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Chak De India, Don,Om Shanti Om, Veer-Zaara, Devdas, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and so on.

He is the founder or owner of film production companies like Dreamz Unlimited and Red Chillies Entertainment. Newsweek has named him one of the 50 most powerful people in the world.

Ashok Kumar – 13th October

Ashok Kumar is one of the most celebrated Indian actors of all time. He is born on October 13, 1911 in Bengal Presidency, British India which is today’s Kolkata. He has changed the outlook of modern film acting. When majority of his counterparts still prevailed in theatrical style of acting, Ashok Kumar went one step ahead to give more realistic acting style. His two brothers Kishore and Anoop Kumar also acted in films. His younger brother Kishore Kumar was one of the most famous playback singers in Indian Film Industry. The three brothers acted in a series of comedy based movies together like, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, Badhti K Naam Daari and Chalti Ka Naam Zindagi. Ashok Kumar stopped celebrating his birthday after his youngest brother Kishore Kumar died on that date in 1987. He has acted in many socially committed films like, Achhut Kanya, Izzat, Savitri and Nirmala against famous actress Devika Rani. Main Ban Ka Panchhi is one of his famous movies. He also proved his acting skills in Negative roles as well. Kismet in which he acted as a villain was the highest grossing film in India at the time of its release. His others famous movies are, Parineeta, Bahu Bagum, Ek Hi Raastha, Aarti etc.

He was also a practitioner of Homeopathy and a great painter in private life.

Feroz Khan – 25th September

Feroz Khan

Feroz Khan was born on September 25, 1939, in Bangalore and has worked in the Hindi film industry as an actor, producer, director and film editor. He is popular for his flamboyant style in Bollywood. Khan won quite a few Filmfare awards. His son Fardeen Khan is an actor and he is also survived by a daughter named Laila Khan Rajpal. He died on 27 April, 2009.

Gulshan Grover – 21st September

Gulshan Grover is a famous Bollywood actor celebrated for his negative roles. He was born on 21st September 1955 in New Delhi, Graduated from Shri Ram College of commerce. His entry to film industry was not so planned. He was fascinated by the spotlight and fame of being an actor; hence initially he accepted any role that came his way. Today he is one of the major actors who act villain roles. He is one of the very few Indian actors who have acted in Hollywood movies too.

Gulshan Grover played an important role in bringing Shah Rukh Khan to fame, because he played the negative role in most of Shah Rukh Khan Movies like Yess Boss, Ram Jaane, Duplicate etc. and contributed in the success of these blockbuster movies. He has several hit movies in his basket. Gulshan Grover was also the celebrity guest in the 2006 Italian Grand Prix held at Monza. He is one of the most respected actors in the film industry today.
